Check out the lovely trailer for Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess’ picture book, Blueberry Girl.

I’ve been excited about this book for a few years now, after seeing Charles Vess show off some of the paintings at San Diego Comic Con a while back. I remember thinking that they were a slight stylistic change for Charles—a bit softer and more ethereal, less line work and more interaction in the inks. What they really are is drop-dead gorgeous.

For the New Yorkers out there, both Charles and Neil Gaiman will be doing a reading and signing at Books of Wonder on Saturday March 7th. Most exciting for me, all of the original paintings will be in display. Details in our event guide.
